Place of Assembly

Place of Assembly Permit is required by law to be filed for and obtained from New York City Department of Buildings and New York City Fire Department  for any indoor space which fits 75 or more persons in one room. Restaurants,  movie theaters, hotel banquet halls, house of worship(church, synagogue, mosque and etc.) are ideal examples of places that require P.A. Permit.

Such permit is also required for outdoor gatherings exceeding 200 people.

Public Assembly Permit designed as safety plan in case of fire or any other possible danger.
